The Catholic relationship with people from other faith traditions changed dramatically with the Second Vatican Council in 1965. Since then inter-religious dialogue has been very much at the forefront of the mission of the Catholic Church. But this shift has not been without its tensions – both inside and outside the Church. This lecture will explore some of the issues which it raises for all people of faith.
