On 25 February, Dialogue Society Reading, in collaboration with the University of Reading, hosted its annual Dialogue Iftar Dinner, marking the second year of this valued partnership. Centred around the theme of “Building Community Trust”, the evening brought together students, academics, civic representatives, and members of the local community.

The evening opened with welcome speeches, setting the tone for a reflective and engaging gathering. This was followed by the breaking of the fast and a shared meal, where guests had the chance to meet one another, take part in interactive activities, and enjoy meaningful conversations in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We are grateful to the University of Reading for their continued collaboration, as well as to our dedicated volunteers and supporters who made the evening possible.

The shared table created a natural space for connection, where conversations flowed easily and new relationships were formed, reflecting the true spirit of dialogue and community.
