The Sheffield Branch proudly hosted its third annual Dialogue Iftar Dinner in partnership with Brinsworth Academy, held at the Brinsworth School Hall. The event brought together around 100 guests, including students, parents, staff, and members of the wider community, creating a warm and inclusive space for dialogue and shared experiences during Ramadan.
The evening was honoured by the presence of Rukhsana Ismail, whose support highlighted the importance of initiatives that strengthen community connections and celebrate diversity. Through meaningful conversations and a shared meal, attendees experienced the true spirit of unity and togetherness.
The programme included interactive activities such as games, a Kahoot quiz, and video presentations, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants—particularly young people. The event provided a valuable platform for students and families to connect with others from different backgrounds, encouraging openness, respect, and mutual understanding.
Impact
This Dialogue Iftar played a vital role in promoting multiculturalism and diversity among young people and their families. By creating opportunities for interaction and dialogue, it helped break down barriers, build confidence, and foster a sense of belonging within the community. The continued success of this annual initiative demonstrates its lasting value in strengthening relationships between schools and the wider community, inspiring future engagement, and contributing to a more cohesive and inclusive society.
