Liam Garrigan was born in Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. He developed an interest in theatre at an early age taking part in amateur theatre around the age of five and also attended youth classes at Hull's Northern Stage Company. Later he attended Hull's Wyke College and then trained as a professional actor at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Liam has become a notable Theatre and Television actor making appearances in BBC television drama series including Holby City and Land Girls, as well as in RTE's "Raw" and Starz TV's miniseries "The Pillars of the Earth". Aside from his love for theatre, he also enjoys surfing.
The Dialogue Society Success School is a four-week programme of seminars intended to help inspire, encourage and equip young people to aspire to and work towards success. Participants will hear the inspirational stories of a range of successful professionals in a friendly and interactive environment (3 sessions). The School will also include a workshop with professional performance coach Wendy Gore, focusing on building confidence and motivation.
Regular attendees will receive certificates.
The School is for young people of 16-21 years of age in and around Hull. We hope to welcome participants from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Participants will largely be recruited from the student body of Wyke College.
