Abstract

As you know Ramadan, the month of fasting, is fast approaching. It is a common tradition in Muslim culture to invite friends, neighbours and relatives to share and enjoy food together after a long day of fasting. This meal is called ‘Iftar’.

As part of The Big Iftar 2016, a national venture of Iftar dinners across the UK, and in the spirit of sharing food Dialogue Society’s Leicester branch is organizing Iftar Dinner event on 15th of June at 9.00pm and has a privilege and honour to invite you to this programme. The Dialogue Society believes that this blessed month is the time for us to build stronger community relations and to stand together against the troubles we have been facing as humanity, in celebration of our unity and in peace.
