Dialogue Society Leicester branch held a Community Engagement Breakfast on Remembrance Day in partnership with Spring Educational Society. People from various background attended the event and shared their views on local and national issues as well the work they do with each other.

Bill Knopp, Police Prevent Coordinator for East Midlands, shared his thoughts about Remembrance Day and noted this day wasn't about triumph but peace and sacrifice. John Knight, Chief Executive Officer at Loros, talked about how they provided free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their families and carers. Time to Help UK Charity talked about their activities and ongoing projects in the UK and overseas such as regular breakfast for homeless people, Emergency Fund for the victims of Manchester attack and Granfell Tower fire, Clean Water, Cataract treatment and Orphan Care.
