Food Festival in Manchester
This year’s Food Festival, organized by Dialogue Society North, took place at the Star Education and Cultural Centre in Manchester on Saturday the 13th of November 2010. As a grassroots event to foster inter-community relations and to consolidate community cohesion, the Food Festival once again brought together parents, young people and children from the local communities to taste food prepared by locals and to take part in fun activities. The festival was also visited by a number of local authorities, businessmen and academics.
