The Dialogue Society North East Branch has been honoured with the prestigious Northumberland High Sheriff Award, presented at the 5th Annual Blyth – Northumberland Iftar Dinner. The award was received on behalf of the organisation during a special appearance by High Sheriff 2025–2026, George Far, recognising the branch’s outstanding contribution to community cohesion and intercultural dialogue across the region.
This recognition reflects the collective efforts of over 150 dedicated volunteers, alongside the invaluable support of approximately 300 partner organisations and community supporters over the past five years. Through their shared commitment, the Dialogue Society has successfully fostered meaningful connections, promoted understanding, and built lasting bridges between diverse communities in the North East.
The award also highlights the strong community spirit of Blyth, Northumberland, which continues to serve as both a home and a foundation for impactful grassroots engagement.
