Billy Wong is a Lecturer in Education Studies at the University of Roehampton. His research is within the sociology of education and focuses on educational identities and inequalities of young people. He has worked on research projects in the areas of science education, computer education, informal education, higher education and social mobility. He is currently writing a monograph based on his doctoral study, completed at King’s College London, which explores the science career aspirations of young, British people from minority ethnic backgrounds.
