In our thematic dinner series the Dialogue Society's goals, current projects and methodology will be introduced. Participants comment and give suggestions on how to "do more" for the communities living in Reading and the surrounding area will be noted and discussed.
Superintendent Stuart Greenfield joined Thames Valley Police in 1985, beginning his career as a patrol officer in High Wycombe. He subsequently went on to undertake many diverse roles, such as river patrol, close protection of vulnerable individuals, surveillance, intelligence management and public order policing. As a Neighbourhood Inspector, Stuart gained valuable experience in delivering policing to local communities in partnership with other statutory and voluntary agencies. As the Local Police Area commander for Reading - England’s largest town - Stuart has built on this experience to deliver strategic leadership aimed at providing the best possible service to its diverse communities, particularly with regard to victims and witnesses of crime. Stuart is an accredited Public Order and CBRN Silver Commander and manages many events such as football, festivals, high-profile protests and demonstrations.
