Cllr David Goodall is currently a Senior Project Leader at Roke Manor Research, Romsey, where the next generation of mobile phones and internet communication systems are being developed. He started is working life aged 16 with a apprenticeship at Plessey Radar, Cowes, and went on to gain his degree at Portsmouth Polytechnic, before rising through the ranks to his current position. For 4 years David has served as a Parish Councillor in Wootton Bridge and since 2002 has been an Eastleigh Borough Councillor. David has been Chairman and member of the Environment and Transport Scrutiny Panel, as well as a member of the Social Policy and Performance Review Scrutiny panels. He is current vice-chair of Hedge End, West End and Botley Local Area Committee and takes a very active role in his council work. David also stood for Parliament in the Southampton Itchen seat.
