John T.S. Madeley is Senior Lecturer in Government in the Department of Government, London School of Economics and Political Science. He writes on the government and politics of the Nordic countries and on religion and politics, particularly in Europe. He published the reader Religion and Politics in the Ashgate series, International Library of Politics and Comparative Government (2002).
