Dr Michael Barnes lectures in interreligious relations and the theology of religions at Heythrop College in the University of London. He taught Buddhism at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome for some years and has been Director of Westminster Interfaith, an agency of the Diocese of Westminster dedicated to developing good relations between communities of faith in the London area. He lives in Southall where he runs a small inter-faith centre.
