    Mohammed is a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Islamic Studies, University of Cambridge. He studied Religious Studies & Educational Studies (BA Joint Hons) at Kent University and completed his LLB (Hons), LLM and Post Graduate Certificate in Legal Education at the University of London. He was subsequently qualified as a barrister-at-law in 1996. He was the founding CEO of the Forum Against Islamophobia and Racism (2000-3) and the British Muslim Research Centre (2003-5). In 2004, Mohammed co-founded FaithWise Ltd and has since worked as a Consultant Advisor to the UK Government on Race, Faith & Cohesion. Mohammed has held numerous public appointment positions (Commissioner at the Commission for Racial Equality (2003-7); member of the Commission for Equality & Human Rights’ Taskforce (2003-4). He has also held many positions in the voluntary and community sector (Council Member of Liberty (2004-8), Founder Member and Trustee of the Equality & Diversity Forum).
