Life of a Chickpea at Cheam Fields Primary School

Year 5 pupils at Cheam Fields Primary took part in the “Life of a Chickpea” workshop, an interactive session designed to explore values, diversity, and interconnectedness. The workshop featured engaging talks from a Police Community Support Officer, as well as Muslim and Quaker guests, who shared their perspectives on community, identity, and shared responsibility. Through storytelling and dialogue, pupils were encouraged to reflect on the importance of mutual respect, inclusion, and their role in building a cohesive society.
