Life of a Chickpea at Westbourne Primary School

Westbourne Primary School recently welcomed a Life of a Chickpea session for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils. The event provided an engaging and enjoyable learning experience, combining storytelling with opportunities to explore themes of faith, identity and community.

Pupils enjoyed interactive storytelling and reflected on the values and lessons shared throughout the session. They also listened to the perspectives of faith leaders, gaining insight into different beliefs and experiences while asking thoughtful questions.

The event encouraged curiosity, respectful dialogue and greater understanding of diverse communities. It was a valuable opportunity for pupils to learn from one another and engage with different viewpoints in a positive and inclusive environment.
